Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc., a privately held government contracting firm is currently seeking a VTC Administrator to be responsible for videoconferencing scheduling/coordinating and videoconferencing and audio/visual systems integration and operation. This position will provide support for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) contract located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Responsibilities include:
Track, prioritize and assign all video conference tickets in an automated ticketing system, including updates, changes, and cancellations.
Inform customers and video conference technicians of new video conference requests and any associated changes.
Perform pre-conference video, audio, and multi-media presentation checks and operate the system, cameras and multi-media systems during “live” conferences as required.
Perform web conferencing duties that allow customers to share documents and collaborate productively.
Requirements:
Active Q or Top Secret Clearance.
Minimum one year of experience in a troubleshooting and customer support environment.
Excellent communication skills via phone and email, PC and database skills, web application knowledge, IP and ISDN based video conference systems knowledge.
Reads, writes and verbally communicates at a level to solicit or explain information that is highly complex or technical, and/or compose correspondence and/or report
High level of attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
MS Windows 7/MS Office Professional
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures used in supporting a large network.
Basic knowledge of video and audio media and equipment operation.
Ability to learn new techniques, new technologies and work independently.
One year experience as a video conference facilitator and three years general IT experience.
Experience with video conference room and desktop systems.
